Our Leadership
The staff at the San Fernando Valley Southern Baptist Association has spent many years devoted to the Christian faith. Our staff enjoys sharing that faith and knowledge with others in our church community. Here are a few of our staff members:

T. A. Nguyen (Director of Missions) 
T.A. is a graduate of San Francisco State University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Sciences. He continued his education by earning an M.Div from Southwestern Seminary and a DMin from Golden Gate Seminary. He has served as Senior Pastor of several churches and is currently planting Good News Fellowship in Little Saigon.
T.A. is married to Thao. They have two children; Anh-Khoa and Phuong-Dzung and a beautiful granddaughter, Kennedy.

Richard Cano (Language Church Specialist)
Richard is a graduate of Golden Gate Seminary and specializes in church planting to the diverse language groups of our area having planted 20 churches in the last 4 years. He is a teacher at the San Fernando Valley Minister Training Center and the Equip Biblical Institute of Crescent Bay. He was the Senior Pastor of San Ysidro First Baptist for 13 years before accepting the call to work with our association.
Richard is married to Silvia and they have 5 kids and 9 grandkids.

Jack Rager (Church Planting Strategist)
In 1983 Jack and his wife surrendered their lives to follow the Lord Jesus wherever He would have them go. That journey has taken them to serve as a Pastor in Oklahoma, as a church planter in Sierra Leone West Africa, Strategy Coordinator in a South Asian country and Strategy Associate for South Asia with the International Mission Board. Today that Journey has taken them to Los Angeles to help develop partnerships to start churches among the most unreached and neglected peoples in the city. Jack's heart’s desire is to be on Mission with the Lord and passionately follow wherever He will lead.

Robby Bolden (Church Health and Growth Consultant)
In the later part of 2008, the San Fernando Valley SBA created the position of Church Health and Growth Consultant (CHGC) in order to encourage and equip local churches towards health. This is NOT another evangelistic program. The emphasis is on healthy churches – healthy churches produce healthy disciples… and healthy disciples reproduce themselves.
Robby Bolden became the Lead Pastor of FSB Glendale in April of 2007. His primary responsibility is for the overall leadership of the church and for the teaching on Sunday. He is married to Traci and they have three sweet daughters Kristen, Kaitlyn and Hannah.
Robby has been pastoring since 1988 and loves seeing people become all that God created them to be. He knows that the only hope for the world is the local church and strives to create an atmosphere at FSB Glendale that will allow anyone to come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Robby received his Bachelor’s Degree from East Texas Baptist University and has his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mary Renfrow (Administrator)
Mary has been with our association since 2001 coming from a career working at a law firm for 25 years. She brings her expertise in organizational management to our ministry by overseeing the day-to-day operations within the association. She attends Heart of the Canyons church where she enjoys working with children and being a part of the work of God in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Mary has been married to Ben for 22 years. They have 2 kids, Chris & Elizabeth.
